Greetings from Team KOS
Hey, thanks for visiting our page. On the 22nd of April 2012 David Banks and Rachel ‘Roo’ Callaghan will attempt to not only complete but set a world record for the fastest marathon completed on stilts. All of this in the hopes to raise as much money as possible for the NSPCC.
The NSPCC is a charity dedicated to ending cruelty, in all it’s forms, to children from all around the UK. This is done through services, help lines and campaigns to change the law.
We are inspired by change and want to do as much as we can to acheive this. Were motivated with the knowledge that for every penny we raise a child out there is that little bit less vulnerable to cruelty, we are also motivated by our peers and in particular Pamela Fake. Pam is one of the millions who could have benefited from NSPCC services as a child but rather than look at it with bitterness she is passionate about insuring that one day no child will have to go through what she did.
So please donate, whatever you can and If you can’t do your bit by spreading the word. We’d like to also use this space to thank Richard from Aberdeen Tyres who has sponsered us our training equipment, this was a huge relief to the team and will allow us to focus on training and fundraising. Buy him a pint if you see him :)
Thanks, David and Roo x
